SPEED, AGILITY & QUICKNESS DRILLS
SOCCER-SPECIFIC SAQ/FITNESS CIRCUIT
Setup: 2 courses. 2 groups, one at each course.
In the exterior course, Team Green performs, in order:
1) Bunny Hops over five 9-inch-high hurdles
2) 2-step through Rings Ladder (at far end)
3) "Icky Shuffle" through Speed Ladder
4) 2-step through Rings Ladder (foreground)
In the interior course, Team Orange runs through a "Zig-Zag course of upright cones; start to finish is approximtely 10 yards in length with the width being 5-8 yards. Team Orange performs 3 runs:
1st Run) Diagonal slides
2nd Run) Cutting at each cone
3rd Run) Turning/Running around each cone
Conduct for 5-10 minutes then have groups switch courses.
This is good Off-Season or Pre-Season "Speed, Agility & Quickness" Warmup.
